Your Health & Safety Are Important To Us!

Positive cases for COVID-19 have recently began to surge in Indiana and across the US, averaging nearly as many coronavirus-related deaths (Indiana specific) now as it did during the spring's initial surge of cases. Therefore, we will be reinforcing are COVID-19 restrictions we put in place in May at our reopening and adding a few more.

Entering / Exiting
-
We're asking all students and parents to wait in their cars and not enter the building until 5 minutes prior to the start of the lesson time to help eliminate the number of people in the building. When entering, please use the main door by the front desk. After you've completed your lesson, we ask that you exit using the side door by the vending machines. This enter/exit process will help create a 1-way foot traffic system. We ask that you only enter the building at the main entrance.
Temperature Checks
-
Anyone who enters the facility MUST have their temperature taken by the front desk staff before they can enter. This includes students, parents/guests, and staff. The CDC considers a person to have a fever when their body temperature is measured at 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. If you have a fever, or you're around someone that just registered with a fever, you will not be allowed to come into the facility. For future lessons following the fever registerd temperature, you must be symptom and fever free for 72 hours.
Checking-In
-
Please continue to check in at the front desk for your lesson like normal. Please try and practice social distancing and follow the markings on the floor to ensure there is at least 6 feet difference between you and other people. For future lessons, the Front Desk Staff are always available; however, you may also utilize the online booking portal on our website. Upon checking in and exiting, please sanitize your hands.
Family/Friends In Building
-
In an effort to lessen the amount of people in the building, if you are a parent who would like to watch or catch your student during their lesson, we're asking that only (1) parent participate, rather than both if possible. Siblings not taking a lesson should stay home whenever possible. Please do not bring additional guests (family members, friends, etc) into the facility whenever possible.
Face Masks
-
We are REQUIRING that every person inside the building wear a face mask or facial covering. This applies to all staff, instructors, students, and parents/visitors. Most students should have already received a Champion's Edge gaiter, however please let us know if you did not receive yours. Each student will receive 1 gaiter. Additional gaiters or gaiters for guests/parents may be purchased at the front desk for $7.00 These masks can be rewashed and we ask that these be brought with you to every lesson moving forward. If you forget your mask, we will have extra available (paper) for an additional charge. We are even asking that students/instructors wear a mask during their lesson time. If you are unable to wear a mask during your lesson, please let your instructor know.
Sanitation / Disinfecting
-
Our staff has been instructed to disinfect/sanitize the waiting area, front desk, and bathrooms at least every hour. Please hold us accountable to this. If you do not see this being done, please let us know. At the end of every night, instructors will sanitize/disinfect their areas and designated equipment (tees, softballs/baseballs, nets, etc). We have FOAM sanitizer stations throughout the facility to use and our bathrooms are also available for hand-washing. Remember to count for 20 seconds (Happy Birthday song twice) when washing your hands.
Sickness/Symptoms/Cancelling Lessons
-
If you are experiencing or have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms in the past 2 weeks, please cancel your lesson. (Cough, Fever, Chills, Congestion, Shortness of Breath/Trouble Breathing). You will not be charged for lessons cancelled due to COVID-19. If you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or is believed to have COVID-19, please cancel your lesson. If you are awaiting a test result for COVID-19, please cancel your lesson. You can cancel your lesson online OR you can email us at indychampsedge@gmail.com. Please do not call to cancel your lesson unless you do it while the facility is open.

If anyone has questions or concerns regarding these new policies and recommendations, please notify the front desk, or send an email to indychampsedge@gmail.com. We value your business and appreciate your patience during these times.
